Welcome to Food For Neighbors

With a generous end-of-year gift to Food For Neighbors, you’ll make a meaningful impact in the lives of food-insecure teens throughout Northern Virginia.

More than 8,300 students are receiving food support at 47 area middle and high schools with Food For Neighbors!

At Food For Neighbors, we're helping students who struggle with hunger.  Through our Red Bag Program, we provide a platform for middle and high schools to engage volunteers from their local community to work together to collect and distribute food every week. Our program began in Herndon, VA, and has since expanded throughout Northern Virginia. Our mission is to reach even more students in more schools. Learn more about how we started, where we are today and how you can help!
